missingWrote a review on Jan 12comfortable bedclean roompoor conditionunpleasant noisedismissive service
The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean, providing a decent rest after a long day. the room was not as advertised. peeling plaster and a broken wardrobe gave off a neglected feel. Noise from outside was bothersome all night, and interactions with staff were far from pleasant, as they dismissed valid concerns. despite some positives, the experience was marred by poor conditions and rude service.

The place is conveniently located near shops and it's a decent spot for a quick stay. I encountered quite a few issues, including unclean bedding and an overall lack of amenities like toiletries and proper seating in common areas. The noisy environment disrupted my sleep, which made the stay less enjoyable.

the security guard was super polite n helpful. the room was clean enough but could use a lil upkeep. got everything i needed quickly. location was alright, not too far from stuff. comfy enough for a solo traveler.
the walls were too thin, could hear every word from next room. the hotel def needs some refurb, it felt dated.

The hospitality was warm and attentive in a clean and nicely decorated room. Although the shared facilities were a new experience for me and the walls a bit thin, it was still a pleasant retreat near shopping and Windsor castle. Value for money was decent, yet I preferred the previous night at an Airbnb.

I was blown away by the warm hospitality. The staff really went above and beyond, making sure I had what I needed, which is not something you see every day.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable.

great access to parks and museums for weekend explorers
I had an enjoyable stay thanks to being just a short stroll from the Slough Museum, which showcases local history beautifully, and it's only a brisk walk to the tranquil greenery at The Curve, perfect for a relaxing afternoon stroll.

Despite the loud walls and shared facilities feeling new to me, I genuinely appreciated the fresh decor and spotless room. It was a unique experience overall, though I'd still lean towards an AirBnB next time.

The location hits the sweet spot, close enough to local eateries. Parking option available, though an additional fee applies.
First off, noise levels are a real issue. walls are paper-thin—could hear everything from the room next door. The absence of proper bathroom facilities in some rooms is a red flag, making it awkward when you expect to find a sink or a shower. Cleanliness doesn’t seem top-of-mind, as I noted cobwebs in my room. Plus, the drainage work in the morning made it difficult to get out promptly. Definitely not ideal if you're looking for peace and quiet or a refreshing stay.

Honestly, the dining scene around here is gold! King 786 and Ambala served up some of the best nosh. Plus, the staff were lovely and really made me feel at home. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised!
On the downside, the customer service was a bit sketchy, and I didn’t appreciate the noise from other guests. Felt like I was being quietly ripped off, to be fair.

Better seating in common areas would be helpful.
